Quiet day

Number of accredited DEA/HIs
I have already posted a full updated on the Forum, but its worth repeating briefly: A formal update is now available at Assessor Numbers
Assessor Numbers as of 11 July
Accredited = 1,603
Qualified = 741 (passed exams and qualified, but not yet become accredited)
Passed exams = 3,662
Total in system who have passed exams or progressed further = 6,006

Regional breakdown: North West 171, North East 44, Yorkshire & the Humber 122, East Midlands 115, West Midlands 146, Eastern 194, London 113, South East 296, South West 179, Wales 87, Unknown 135, Total 1,603

There is little apparent movement forward since AHIPP announced unofficial numbers of 1595 8 days ago- I have removed the 1595 from the dataset and used 1603 instead.

The forecast to reach 2000 accredited DEA/HIs has now slipped 9 days from 21 to 30 July. The rate of accreditation has slowed from 19.3 per day to 17.5 per day.

Quality of DEA candidates
Now this is an interesting one that not only got mentioned on the main forum, but in addition I have had a number of emails over the last 48 hours from people (who I know, respect, and know what they are on about) who are deeply concerned over the calibre of the DEA candidates coming through at the moment. Obviously I only get to see the NRG Experts forms at the moment, but it'll be interesting to monitor the churn rate of people leaving the industry for various reasons. I am really not sure what to make of it all, and I have to say that I have not come across any issues that worry me unduly- pointing fingers at trainee DEAs seems a little unfair when many businesses with 7 figure turnovers are in turmoil themselves with their own process issues. It'll work itself through, there are weak points all over the industry.

Not much to report
More conversations with customers which is good, more marketing going on to potential customers but the best news was some serious progress on the newsletter. I've quickly created too much content so some will roll over to the next newsletter. Had a few games trying to get the format looking good but fairly pleased with it now, should be good for a few newsletters and thats what counts. I have a strong-minded webmaster so it's a bit of a battle of wills when it comes down to the detail.
