Ordering an EPC

You can order from NRG Experts on a 'pay as you go' basis or by setting up an account. Our standard prices are:

• Domestic Properties (1-4 bedrooms): £60+VAT
• Domestic Properties (5-6 bedrooms): £80+VAT
• Domestic Properties (7+ bedrooms): from £90+VAT

We are happy to provide pricing information for larger residential or commercial properties on request: please contact us.

For one-off and infrequent jobs, we require payment in advance by credit card, debit card, BACs payment or cheque. More regular customers can set up an account with us and we will invoice monthly.

You can order using our online form, or you can send us work using your own, or third party software such as Quest.

What happens after an order is placed?

On receipt of an order, we swiftly identify a local surveyor to carry out the work and contact the seller or agent by telephone to arrange a suitable appointment. All our appointments are made for a specific time so sellers aren't unduly inconvenienced.

We understand the need for a quick turnaround so we aim to make contact within three working hours of receiving the order and we inform our customers once an appointment has been arranged.

At the time of the appointment, the surveyor will visit the property and carry out an energy performance survey. This typically takes between 40 and 90 minutes, depending on the size of the property.

The surveyor prepares the Energy Performance Certificate based on the findings of the survey and this is emailed or uploaded to customers' software within 24 hours of the appointment taking place.
